De zedenrechercheur Bob Hightower is in rouw nadat zijn voormalige vrouw vermoord wordt. Lang kan hij niet stilstaan, want zijn dochter is ontvoerd door een satanische sekte. Het amateurwerk bij de politie stoort hem echter enorm en Bob neemt ontslag. Hij infiltreert in de sekte en maakt jacht op de leider Cyrus. Hulp krijgt hij in de vorm van Case Hardin, een slachtoffer dat de cultus wist te ontvluchten.
