De schrijver is met zijn tante in Italië als zij dood gevonden wordt in Pompeï. In haar psalmboek vindt hij een kaart van Pompeï waarop haar sterfplaats staat aangegeven. Omdat de politie niet de indruk wekt dat ze hard werkt aan het onderzoek besluit de schrijver haar dood te onderzoeken.
Nee, helaas is Fragment of Fear nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
