Miljonair en playboy Mark Powers (James Franciscus) huurt een landhuis nabij de eenzame huisvrouwen Christina Wood (Jessica Walter), Karen McClure (Gretchen Corbett) en Lynn Briskin (Heather MacRae). Hij begint met alle drie vrouwen een affaire, maar maakt tevens hun levens kapot met gemene psychologische spelletjes. Als hij vermoord wordt aangetroffen, zijn Christina, Karen en Lynn de hoofdverdachten.
