Nan is een gepensioneerde vrouw die geen blad voor haar mond neemt. Ze maakt een wilde roadtrip van Londen naar Ierland met haar kleinzoon Jamie. Haar doel is het goed te maken met haar vervreemde zus Nell. Militante veganistische brandstichters, rauwe rugbyteams, nachtelijke raves en gestoorde agenten op motoren zorgen voor een leuk dagje uit.
