Kelly is een kunstenares uit Chicago die even genoeg heeft van de kunstwereld. Het is bijna Kerstmis en ze keert terug naar haar geboorteplaats, Grand Valley. Leo, een zakenman die geliefd is bij zijn eigen kinderen, begeeft zich voor zijn werk naar een hotel in Grand Valley. Kelly en Leo lopen elkaar tegen het lijf en er ontstaat een band.
