De huurmoordenaar Holland (Charles Bronson) is eigenlijk al gepensioneerd. Maar hij besluit nog een opdracht te volbrengen, namelijk de moord op een smeerlap in Guatemala, die onschuldige burgers terroriseert. Deze figuur wordt beschermd door een geheime Amerikaans overheidsdienst. Al schietend en moordend komt Holland dichter bij zijn doelwit.
