'The Night Clerk' volgt een hoogbegaafde, autistische hotelbediende die late diensten moet draaien. Tijdens zijn werk filmt hij met behulp van bewakingscamera's zijn gasten om zo zijn sociale vaardigheden te kunnen verbeteren. Wanneer een vrouw vermoord wordt tijdens een van zijn diensten wordt hij al snel hoofdverdachte.
