Nadat Macdonald hersenletsel heeft opgelopen na een bankroof, ontwikkelt hij geheugenverlies en wordt hij op een psychiatrische gevangenisafdeling geplaatst. Na zijn zevende jaar in evaluatie, wordt hij door een gevangene en een zaalarts gedwongen om uit de gevangenis te ontsnappen.
