Ergens heel ver in de toekomst, is een bizarre bende outlaws bezig om van de vervallen stad Oblivion hun privé speelplaats te maken. Hun hagedisachtige leider Redeye, heeft sheriff Stone gedood en terroriseert de bewoners van de stad. Ontredderd probeert de hulpsheriff samen met Doc Valentine de stad tevergeefs terug in handen te krijgen. Ondertussen rijdt Stone's verloren zoon 'Zach', samen met z'n maatje Buteo de stad binnen om hun laatste eer te bewijzen. Wanner Redeye en zijn sexy vriendin Lash, Buteo aanvallen en de beeldschone Mattie ontvoeren, slaan de stoppen door bij Zach, echter alvorens hij zijn vriendin kan redden zal hij eerst de Badlands moeten trotseren, een verdorde woestijn waar het krioelt van meterslange dodelijke schorpioenen, en daarna zal hij de dodelijke strijd moeten aangaan met zijn buitenaardse vijanden.
Nee, helaas is Oblivion nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
