In afwachting van een rechtszaak omtrent zijn handelen bij een incident, is politie-agent Asger uit zijn functie ontheven en gedwongen om te werken bij de alarmcentrale. In een meldkamer van de alarmcentrale beantwoordt Asger Holm een noodoproep van een ontvoerde vrouw.
