Een reeks onverwachte gebeurtenissen zorgt ervoor dat de alledaagse winkelbediende Harley een gezochte man wordt. Hij slaat op de vlucht met het meisje van zijn dromen. FBI-agent McFaddenis is vastbesloten om hem te pakken en wil ondertussen haar nieuwbakken partner de kneepjes van het vak leren. Maar terwijl de agenten hun verdachte achtervolgen, heeft Harley andere bezigheden.
