De famillie Verma maakt zich op voor het huwelijksfeest van hun dochter Aditi. Vader Lalit probeert de trouwerij in goede banen te leiden, maar hij raakt steeds nerveuzer van al die familieleden die van heinde en ver zijn gekomen om het feest bij te wonen. Van de opgefokte huwelijksplanner Dabuy hoeft hij geen hulp te verwachten. Hij heeft immers meer oog voor de mooie huishoudster Alice. Tot overmaat van ramp blijkt Aditi twijfels te hebben met haar huwelijk. Lalit ziet me leden ogen aan hoe het huwelijksfeest dreigt uit te lopen op een ramp.
