Na de dood van zijn oudere broer wordt Guiseppe 'de guppy' Calzone hoofd van de Calzone Mob-familie. Zijn bejaarde vader weet dat zijn zoon niet geschikt is voor deze baan, dus stuurt hij hem naar 'Mafia University'. Het hoofd van een rivaliserende maffiafamilie ziet dit als een kans om toe te slaan en de familie Calzone op de knieën te krijgen. Omringd door gevaar, dubbelgangers en pasta.
