Daisy, de vrouw van CIA-agent Allen Quimp, probeert hem over te halen een job te zoeken met meer avontuur en een beter salaris. Na een flinke waarschuwing van zijn schoonvader, probeert Allen uit alle macht zijn huwelijk en zijn gezicht te redden en beweert in werkelijkheid een geheim agent te zijn, die undercover als docent opereert. Binnen korte tijd wordt dit nieuws door Daisy aan de grote klok gehangen en moet Allen zich echt als agent gaan gedragen. Uiteindelijk wordt hij voor een missie naar Cuba gestuurd, waar net toevallig ook ene Fidel Castro een coup pleegt.
