Matt staat op het punt zijn baan te verliezen wanneer hij bezoek krijgt van de persoonlijk assistente van zijn vader. Zij weet hem te vertellen dat zijn vader Ben, van wie hij vervreemd is, stervende is en een laatste tentoonstelling wil realiseren. Zijn wens is dat Matt hen vervoegt in hun reis door de Verenigde Staten terwijl ze op zoek zijn naar het allerlaatste fotolab dat Kodachrome film kan ontwikkelen.
