Stew en Phil Deedle zijn twee idiote surfers die worden gedwongen om hun vakantie door te brengen als rangers in het Yellowstone Park. Daar krijgen zij te maken met een gevaarlijke ex-ranger, die op wraak uit is. Nadat de twee surffanaten de goodwill van hun mede-rangers hebben verspeeld, proberen zij weer in een goed blaadje te komen door de duistere plannen van de ex-ranger te dwarsbomen.
