Na een ongeluk is de playboy Nick Marshall ineens in staat om alles te horen wat vrouwen denken. Hij besluit deze gave te gebruiken op de vrouw die de positie binnen hun bedrijf krijgt die Marshall graag had willen hebben, om zo de baan van haar af te kunnen pikken. Hij wordt echter verliefd op haar.
