Een onschuldige jongeman, Jack, gaat op een epische zoektocht om zijn zus Lula te redden nadat ze is ontvoerd door de gewelddadige moordenaar Cut Throat Bill en haar bende. Om haar te redden roept Jack de hulp in van een sluwe premiejager genaamd Reginald Jones, een alcoholische zoon van een ex-slaaf en een slimme prostituee. De bende volgt Cut Throat Bill naar het dodelijke niemandsland dat bekend staat als The Big Thicket – een plek waar bloed en chaos regeren.
Nee, helaas is The Thicket nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
