John Leary lijkt voor de buitenwereld altijd vrolijk, maar is na de dood van zijn vrouw in een depressie geraakt. Elke week weer voert John als presentator van een horrorshow op TV trouw zijn komische act op. Maar intussen dreigen zijn twee kinderen Jack en Dylan het grootste slachtoffer te worden van de situatie.
Nee, helaas is Jack the Bear nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
