Tijdens het onderzoek naar de toedracht van de moord op een prostituee wordt de koppige detective Man Fong gekoppeld aan de sluwe, wereldwijze inspecteur Kei van de narcotica afdeling. Als er op de plaats van de misdaad DNA gevonden wordt van één van Man Fong's collega's, moet hij buiten de geëffende paden denken om de waarheid te achterhalen. Kei's griezelige gretigheid om te helpen begint inmiddels te stinken en al gauw moet Man Fong proberen te achterhalen wie er nu precies zijn vrienden zijn.
