De film vertelt het verhaal van Carlos, die op weg gaat naar Almería in Spanje, gedreven door de foto's die hij heeft gezien van zijn dode vader. Hij gaat op zoek naar zijn grootvader Julian en van hem komt hij meer te weten over zijn vader, die als stuntman werkte in spagetti-westerns. Julian en zijn collega's, zelf ooit ook stuntmannen, vermaken nu de toeristen met het nabootsen van oude actie-scenes.
Nee, helaas is 800 Bullets nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
