Een mooie jonge vreemdeling die een vreemde taal spreekt wordt bijna veroordeeld voor al het smeken wat ze doet. Maar wanneer een man haar taal kan vertalen, blijkt dat ze een prinses van een onbekend eiland. Ze wordt hartelijk ontvangen door de aristocratische familie, maar een lokale reporter heeft zo zijn twijfels en start een onderzoek naar de zogenaamde prinses.
