Het verhaal speelt zich af aan boord van de Pheaton, 's werelds eerste sterrenschip. Het schip bevindt zich op een 10-jarige reis naar een planetenstelsel. Om het de crewleden naar de zin te maken op deze lange missie worden er virtual-reality modules op het schip geïnstalleerd. Door middel van deze modules is iedereen in staat verschillende identiteiten aan te nemen en deel te nemen aan allerlei avonturen, totdat er een fout in het systeem wordt ontdekt...
Nee, helaas is Virtuality nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
