'Sing Street' speelt zich af in 1985 waar we de 14-jarige Conor volgen die, als zijn ouders het niet meer kunnen betalen, van een privéschool naar een ruige openbare school in Dublin verkast. Op school krijgt hij te maken met een strenge hoofdmeester en thuis doen z'n ouders niks anders dan ruzie maken.
Nee, helaas is Sing Street nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
