Alicia, de dochter van een veroordeelde communistische spion, wordt verliefd op CIA-agent Devlin en gaat met hem naar Parijs. Daar krijgt ze de opdracht om de communistische Alex te verleiden. Ze slaagt hierin en trouwt met hem, maar als hij erachter komt dat ze een spionne is, probeert hij haar te vergiftigen. Remake van Hitchcocks versie.
