Tijdens een vakantie in Berlijn ontmoet Clare, een Australische fotojournaliste, Andi, een charismatische lokale man. Vrijwel direct ontstaat er een aantrekkingskracht tussen hen waarna een passievolle nacht volgt. Maar wat in eerste instantie het begin lijkt te zijn van romantiek krijgt een sinistere wending, wanneer Clare de volgende dag wakker wordt en er achter komt dat Andi naar zijn werk is en haar opgesloten heeft in zijn appartement. Daarbij komt dat Andi niet van plan is haar ooit te laten gaan.
