Tommy Shea is een bokser uit Jersey City die ontdekt wordt door miljonair Robert Mallinson, die hem laat trainen in zijn landhuis op Long Island. Shea valt al snel op Mallinsons dochter Dorothy, maar denkt niet dat hij haar financieel kan onderhouden. Daarom besluit hij te vechten voor de criminele promoter Harry Cram en zijn echte trainer te verraden.
