Alex Faraday, een knappe en meedogenloze femme fatale, pleegt met een stel handlangers een grote misdaad. Het gaat echter niet helemaal volgens plan. Alex is getuige van de brute moord op een van haar handlangers door een zeer gespecialiseerd internationaal syndicaat dat op zoek is naar een sleutel.
