Stephanie wordt door haar ouders achtergelaten in hun afgelegen huis. Het meisje probeert te overleven door pindakaas te eten en te praten tegen haar knuffel, een schildpad. Ondertussen wordt Stephanie in de gaten gehouden door een duistere, bovennatuurlijke entiteit.
