Al Fountain werkt als voorman van een aantal arbeiders om een grote machine in een gloednieuwe ruitenwisserfabriek te installeren. Hij is erg stijf in de omgang, en ontdekt per ongeluk dat de arbeiders hem niet mogen. Dan wordt de klus afgeblazen en mag iedereen met een bonus naar huis. Al belt zijn vrouw en kind en laat hen weten dat hij eerder thuiskomt. Hij gaat - zonder dit te zeggen - echter eerst nog op zoek naar 'Lake Splashy', een meer dat in de buurt zou moeten liggen en waar hij fijne jeugdherinneringen aan heeft...
Nee, helaas is Box of Moonlight nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
