De Berlijnse elektronica componist Martin (Paul Kalkbrenner), genaamd DJ Ickarus vliegt met zijn manager en vriendin naar clubs over de hele wereld. Als Ickarus na een optreden na te veel drugsgebruik in een zenuw-kliniek in Berlijn terechtkomt, verstoort dat alle grootse plannen die hij had.
