Politieagent Jack (Jeff Fahey) beunt bij als privédetective in zuidelijk Florida. In die hoedanigheid onderzoekt hij de vermiste Catherine. Zij is de zus van Thomas (Jeffrey Donovan). Deze blijkt zich met pruik en jurk regelmatig als zijn zus voor te doen, waardoor Jack al snel begint te vermoeden dat Thomas de dood van Catherine wel eens op zijn geweten zou kunnen hebben.
