De 16-jarige Zoey Stevens, een ervaren danseres en topstudente, krijgt het moeilijk wanneer ze intrekt bij haar stiefvader en rumoerige stiefbroers, totdat ze zich realiseert dat haar app voor het trainen van honden de controle lijkt te hebben over alle jongens om haar heen. Maar ze komt er snel achter dat dit ook niet alles is.
