Allison en Rodney besluiten terug te komen naar hun geboorteplaats Peyton Place, maar komen onderweg om bij een auto-ongeluk. Tenminste, dat doet iemand ze geloven. Rodney's broer Norman gelooft het verhaal niet en besluit de zaak te onderzoeken. Ondertussen arriveert Stella Chernack in het stadje en is van plan onrust te zaaien.
