Dr. Who reist samen met zijn assistenten door de tijd en komt terecht op de planeet Skaro. De planeet wordt bevolkt door de vriendelijke Thals, die helaas genadeloos uitgebuit worden door de gevaarlijke robot-mutanten de Daleks.
