De filmarchivaris David en zijn vrouw zijn een gelukkig koppel, althans dat denkt hij. Een dreigend geheim verbrijzelt hun huwelijk en een film die hij bestudeert voor zijn werk, onthult dat hun huis de plek is van een massamoord. David ontdekt dat de griezelige geschiedenis van het huis zich weleens kan herhalen.
