Ernest Worrel, een taxichauffeur uit Orlando, haalt op de luchthaven een aardige oude man op die hem erg aan de kerstman doet denken. Het blijkt ook effectief om de kerstman te gaan! Hij is in feite op zoek naar een opvolger, want na een carrière van een eeuw, kijkt hij nu toch wel reikhalzend uit naar zijn pensioen. Mocht de kerstman echter geen opvolger vinden, betekent dit het einde van het kerstfeest.
Nee, helaas is Ernest Saves Christmas nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
