Ray Quick is een voormalige bom-expert van de CIA die nu als outsider in Miami woont. May Munro heeft van zijn kwaliteiten gehoord en probeert hem over te halen om de daders van een aanslag op zijn ouders te bombarderen. Ray is geïnteresseerd in het aanbod, maar blijft bij zijn besluit om zijn kunstjes nooit meer te vertonen. Wanneer een voormalige CIA-collega verschijnt verandert de situatie drastisch.
