Na de ineenstorting van de wereldeconomie heeft het gigantische mediaconcern "UNICOM" op bijna alle vlakken een dominante positie ingenomen. Piratenzenders zijn niettemin een doorn in het oog van het bedrijf en dus infiltreert het bedrijf een androïde in de gelederen van een klein piratenradiostation en laat de telefoniste vermoorden. Dit leidt echter onverwachts tot een opstand tegen de machinaties van het bedrijf.
Nee, helaas is Crash and Burn nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
