Het verhaal van de Afro-Amerikaanse actielegende en CIA agent Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) in de jaren '70. Wanneer de Italiaanse maffia zijn broer koud maakt en heroïne in de plaatselijke weeshuizen pompt, is Black Dynamite uit op wraak. Hij neemt het op tegen de maffia en hun leider, enkel bekend als "de man" en ontdekt daarnaast corruptie binnen de Amerikaanse regering.
Nee, helaas is Black Dynamite nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
