Christina, een alleenstaande moeder met twee kinderen, ontsnapt ternauwernood aan haar agressieve vriendje waarna ze naar Florida verhuist. Daar ontmoet ze Sandy, een oude vriendin die ze nog kent van haar vroegere beroep als go-go-danseres, die werkt voor een marihuana-importeur. Ze woont in een hotel en vindt een baantje als schoonmaakster maar al snel klimt ze omhoog in de wereld van het smokkelen.
