Na een ruzie tussen echtgenoten Roy en Helen Knable klopt de geheimzinnige Spike op de voordeur. Hij biedt Roy het ultieme tv-systeem aan. Roy wordt samen met zijn vrouw weggezogen in de tv-programma's van de hel, met shows waaronder 'Driving over Miss Daisy', 'Northern Overexposure' en 'Autopsies of the Rich and Famous'.
