Leona Stevenson is ziek en bedlegerig. Op een nacht, terwijl ze op haar man wacht, neemt ze de hoorn op en hoort toevallig een gesprek tussen twee mannen die een moordplan beramen. Ze wordt hopeloos, als ze probeert uit te zoeken wie het slachtoffer is zodat ze de moord kan voorkomen.
