Ex-gevangene Rudy wil na zijn vrijlating een nieuw leven beginnen met Ashley, de penvriendin van zijn celmaat Nick. Hij geeft zich uit voor Nick, weet Ashley te verleiden en begint een relatie met haar. Voor hij het beseft, belandt hij door Ashley's broer en tegen zijn wil, opnieuw in het criminele circuit. Wist Rudy in het begin nog duidelijk wie hij was en voor wie hij zich uitgaf, na een tijdje raakt ook hij het spoor bijster.
