De film gaat over de problemen in een arbeidersgezin in Londen. Billy is een drugsverslaafde en wordt door Raymond het huis uitgegooid, hij moet nu voor zichzelf zorgen. Raymond is een gewelddadig persoon en dit zorgt voor nog meer problemen binnen het gezin.
