Ali (Elisabeth Röhm), een getalenteerde kunstenares, is met haar gezin op weg naar huis wanneer ze een auto-ongeval heeft. Haar man en haar kind overleven het ongeluk niet en zij verliest haar gezichtsvermogen. Op aanraden van haar arts huurt Ali de verzorger Jeff (Sam Page) in om haar te helpen nu ze blind is en ze haar leven moet aanpassen. Haar aanpassing lijkt goed te gaan en ze raakt ook bevriend met haar nieuwe buurvrouw Linda (Shannon Elizabeth) tot ze beslist dat ze Jeff zijn hulp niet meer nodig heeft.
