Door een ongelukkige samenloop van omstandigheden komt een vrouw in een bos terecht, waar ze gezelschap krijgt van het dier dat ze meeste vreest van allemaal, een wolf. Gaandeweg ontstaat er echter een band tussen de vrouw en de wolf.
