Een groep jonge mensen leeft in een anarchistische commune ergens in Dallas, Texas. De nogal onschuldige beslommeringen van de groep komen onder druk te staan door de komst van de gevaarlijke nihilist Johnny Black. Hij daagt hen uit om agressiever in hun anarchistische levenswijze te zijn.
