Voormalig geheim agent Jonathan Cold werkt tegenwoordig voor eigen rekening als koerier van strikt geheime informatie. Op een dag krijgt hij van één van zijn contacten de opdracht een pakketje van Frankrijk naar Duitsland te vervoeren. De inhoud van de zending wordt hem niet meegedeeld, maar al snel wordt duidelijk dat er heel wat mensen bereid zijn tot het uiterste te gaan om te voorkomen dat het pakje zijn bestemming bereikt.
Nee, helaas is The Foreigner nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
