De film vertelt het verhaal van scuba-duikers Sebastion en Dani, een sexy paar dat veel geld aangeboden krijgt in ruil voor het begeleiden van duikexcursies langs een gevaarlijk Hawaïaans rif. Aan de hand van dubieuze klanten wordt het jonge paar in gevaar gebracht en uiteindelijk zwaar op de proef gesteld wat betreft hun duikervaring, hun liefde en de wil om te leven.
Nee, helaas is Into the Blue 2: The Reef nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
